Managing SEN and Inclusion
A Presentation by Amy Maunder
A practical full day course helping SENCos to manage the increasing workload that the role demands. This session could also be delivered on a 1:1 basis to supporting SENCos within their school setting. The session will cover:
- Identifying the elements of the role and planning for them throughout the SENCo year
- School self evaluation for SEN and inclusion
- Action planning
- Managing your team of LSAs / TAs
- Identifying individual needs of your students and planning through IEPs or individual provision maps
- Planning for provision and evaluating success
- Tracking progress and modifying programmes
- Reporting on progress and planning for inspection
Target Audience and age group:
SENCos / Inclusion co-ordinators and Line managers in primary and secondary schools
