Managing SEN and Inclusion

A practical full day course helping SENCos to manage the increasing workload that the role demands. This session could also be delivered on a 1:1 basis to supporting SENCos within their school setting. The session will cover:

• Identifying the elements of the role and planning for them throughout the SENCo year
• School self evaluation for SEN and inclusion
• Action planning
• Managing your team of LSAs / TAs
• Identifying individual needs of your students and planning through IEPs or individual provision maps
• Planning for provision and evaluating success
• Tracking progress and modifying programmes
• Reporting on progress and planning for inspection

SENCos / Inclusion co-ordinators and Line managers in primary and secondary schools
