The Inclusion Development Programme (National Strategies)

This half day or full day training programme published by the National Strategies contains a wealth of invaluable CPD advice and training on three of the most common and concerning areas of SEN: 

  • Dyslexia
  • Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN)
  • Behaviour, Emotional and Social Difficulties (BESD)    

 The bespoke programme can be delivered in several ways:

(a)      An individual teacher from your school is trained in the delivery of the programme in a “training the trainer” style.  This enables the programme to be delivered in your own school, as whole-school CPD, in a bespoke fashion, by the trained member of staff and comes with the materials, advice, support and guidance in how to plan and deliver the programme over a period of time.

(b)     Directly to your whole-school.  This is delivered following an initial audit of the needs of the individual school and it's identified areas of CPD.

(c)     Directly to an individual department (or departments).  This is delivered following an initial audit of the CPD requirements of the department.
